How To Comply With California's Heavy-Duty Diesel Vehicle Regulations

Franklin Room
10:00 am

2 hour session
Speaker: Michael Cooper, Environmental, Health & Safety Training speaker

Commissioned by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) they are offering free Heavy-Duty Diesel Vehicle Regulations training to interested parties throughout the United States.  The goal of this training is to assist truck fleet owners, operators, motor carriers, brokers, dispatchers, fleet managers, compliance companies, and corporate officers in understanding and complying with California’s Truck and Bus Regulation, Tractor-Trailer GHG Regulation, and other diesel regulations that apply to heavy-duty vehicles entering California.

For background, on June 27, 2014 CARB released new action dates for truck owners impacted by the Truck and Bus Regulation amendments passed in April 2014.  As a result of these emission reduction regulations, there is an increased need to educate out-of-state truck and other diesel engine owners about the various in-use diesel engine and greenhouse gas regulations they must meet while in California, as well as assist CARB staff with compliance and implementation issues associated with these regulations.  This education effort is essential in order to inform stakeholders of the regulatory requirements and options for compliance to meet the obligations of CARB staff to assist fleets in understanding and complying with the regulations.

Come find out more about this regulation and discuss your questions.
