The plans for Expedite Expo July 16-17, 2021 are proceeding.

The management team of the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum takes the role as caretakers of their guests very seriously. They aim to be responsible employers by providing a safe environment for all. As part of our commitment to help protect each of our valued guests and team members, we want to share with you the precautions being taken in response to COVID-19.

The Coliseum take great pride in practices to maintain a clean and sanitary environment. In response to COVID-19, they have implemented enhanced cleaning measures that reflect the recommended standards of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). All high touch and high traffic areas are being cleaned and disinfected frequently. Their cleaning protocols includes:

  • Cleaning technique for high-touch areas includes using soap and water or a cleaning solution to remove dirt prior to disinfection
  • Disinfecting technique for high-touch areas with products effective against coronavirus, including electrostatic cleaning equipment, will be used to disinfect seating areas, restrooms, handrails, elevators, escalators and other high-touch areas prior to each event
  • Documentation of health and safety practices and enhanced cleaning protocols will be recorded and maintained
  • All event set ups will be utilizing social distancing as a guideline, barriers, floor spacing signage, and sanitizing stations, which will be in place at ticket office, concession stands, restrooms to protect guests

At the 2021 Expo we will better enable social distancing, including widening aisles in many exhibit areas, and allocating more space between seats during events and in areas where attendees commonly congregate.
We will use best practices for attendees and exhibitors, such as wearing masks, avoiding shaking hands, and sanitation following product demonstrations.
Increased cleaning and sanitizing frequency will happen across all show venues.
We will actively encourage those who are feeling unwell to stay home.

Thank you for your continued support. As our plans evolve, we will continue to provide updates.
